When we say Built on Truth, we don’t just mean traceability. We mean trust, earned slowly, through every decision, every relationship, every harvest.
We built Roswods with this understanding at the centre. That food, real food, can only be trusted if it’s transparent. If it honours both land and lineage.
So we made a promise to never hide behind half-truths. We don’t make vague claims. We don’t greenwash. We won’t label something “natural” if it’s been sprayed or bulked out with fillers.
Instead, we trace every pouch back to its origin. We tell you when a product is regenerative, organic, or in transition. We show you how it’s made, and why we made it that way. Even when it’s complex. Even when it’s imperfect. Because that’s what truth deserves.
In a world where 40% of global consumers say they don’t believe brand sustainability claims (Nielsen, 2023), and food fraud continues to grow across spice markets, we chose a harder path.
We chose transparency.
We work directly with smallholder farmers, not just because it’s better but because it’s right. They are the stewards of land, of culture, of ancient food knowledge. And they’ve been left out of the narrative for too long.
When you see a Roswods product, you’re seeing the outcome of their work, their care, their time, their skill. And so, we pay fairly. We co-create with farmers. We prioritise long-term relationships. Because truth starts at the root.
It’s in the way our podis are roasted in small batches, not bulk blended for mass scale. It’s in how we reject anti-caking agents, colour enhancers, or flavouring additives that are so common in many brands.
Our truth lives in these choices. Quietly, but firmly.
We also recognise that truth means telling the full story. That includes our own.
Not every one of our ingredients is certified organic because we work with farmers in transition, many of whom cannot afford the bureaucracy of certification. Instead, we support them in regenerative practices that are already organic in mindset. This is far more impactful than ticking a box.
That’s what Built on Truth means to us. It’s not perfection. It’s accountability.
Because when you earn someone’s trust, their plate, their family, their belief, you owe them honesty in return. This principle also ties deeply into our broader mission.
At Roswods, we’re on a mission to reconnect Earth, producers, and consumers through food that heals — grown regeneratively, sourced responsibly, and delivered with care. Our vision is simple but powerful: Healthier food for all, grown in trust and rooted in regeneration.
We want to move beyond a world where pure food is a privilege. Where healthy options are kept behind price tags and boutique branding. We believe in building systems where truth is accessible. Where care is visible. Where food is fair.
Our brand pillars reflect this:
- Farmer First. Always. — because those who sow deserve the soil, too.
- Culture You Can Taste. — because flavour isn’t invented, it’s inherited.
- Grown to Restore. — because the Earth gives when we protect it.
- Wellness With Purpose. — because food should nourish the body and the system.
- Built on Truth. — because transparency is the strongest foundation.
And the products? They reflect these choices, every step of the way.
Our Jaffna Curry Powder is made from a multi-generational family recipe, a northern heat that tells you a story before you even take a bite.
Our
Chicken Curry Masala is blended from whole spices roasted on low flame, just the way our grandmothers used to do it, with no shortcuts.
Our
Vallarai Keerai Podi doesn’t just bring iron and grounding. It brings back the taste of quiet weekday meals, when food was love, not performance. Every Roswods product is a promise: that what you’re eating has a story. A lineage. And a truth behind it.
So when you cook with us, whether it’s lunch on a workday or a full table on Diwali, you’re not just adding flavour. You’re adding meaning. You’re choosing a brand that’s proud to tell the full story.
And in a world of noise, that kind of truth is rare. Precious. Worth holding onto.
Just like the food it flavours.
